About OH WOW!

Founded in 2011, OH WOW!® The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology is an award-winning center providing the region with interactive STEM educational experiences to promote learning in a fun, creative, and engaging fashion. Within our 30,000-square-foot facility downtown Youngstown, we feature 20+ WOW! Zones of exhibits that capture various disciplines of STEM for visitors to explore and bring imagination to life for over 50,000 visitors annually.

Phase 4

OH WOW's Phase 4 Renovation plan aims to transform the learning experience by incorporating collaborative digital learning, hands-on maker labs, immersive virtual reality, and outdoor learning spaces. The project also includes improved user experience design and ample multi-use space, all designed to provide innovative and accessible learning opportunities for the community.

The Ready, Set, Go: Co-Lab initiative is a comprehensive effort by OH WOW!® to provide high-quality STEM learning opportunities for youth, focusing on closing the gap in STEM education. Through project-based and challenge-based learning in Ohio's growing STEM sectors, the initiative aims to inspire learners, develop their skills, and prepare them for STEM careers while fostering strategic partnerships for accessibility and inclusivity.
